▎Selection Guide: Based on Plate Thickness
Sheet material cutting (< 3mm):
Recommended φ1.5mm: Specifically designed for precise cutting. The airflow is concentrated, the heat affected zone is small, the cutting seam is narrower, and the surface finish of the cut is higher.
Use φ2.0mm with caution: If a larger hole diameter is used on such thin plates, excessive heat concentration may cause the cutting seam to widen. This is especially likely to occur at the corners.
Thick plate cutting (≥ 3mm):
Optimal φ2.0mm: For high-power cutting scenarios, the larger aperture provides a better area for air flow dispersion. Although the air flow speed is relatively slow, this helps to extend the cooling time and ensure the stability of the cutting process, especially suitable for long-term and high-load operations.
φ1.5mm applicability: It can be used on thick plates with difficulty, but due to the small diffusion area of the gas, the gas flow stability is poor. Therefore, it is not recommended for high-demand large-scale production.
